The Photo Wrapped Layflat Album features thick pages that open completely flat, making it ideal for full-spread photos across two pages. The cover is highly customizable with photo wrap layouts, flexible text placement, and optional background colors depending on the design you choose. Albums are available in multiple sizes and include your choice of Matte or Lustre interior paper. Pages can range from 20 to 100 pages, with additional pages available for an extra cost. It requires 5 business days in production.

Can I change the size after I start my project?
Yes. In the editor, use the size dropdown menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Please note that changing the size may adjust layouts and reset image cropping. Review each spread carefully after resizing.
What cover materials and colors are available?
Photo Wrapped Layflat Albums have a durable, plant-based linen cover with a textured buckram binding and UV coating for added protection and a refined finish. That comes in two finishes:
- Smooth: Coated paper with a soft touch, with sharp color tones
- Textured: Uncoated paper with a fine texture and deep color tones
Depending on the cover layout you select, you may also be able to customize the background color. Use the color picker in the bottom-right corner of the cover editor to choose from preset colors or create a custom color. View our help article for more information.
What are the cover design options?
You can choose from six cover layouts in the editor. These can be changed at any time using the Layouts panel on the left-hand side.

Can I customize the cover?
Yes. Because these albums do not include foil stamping, they offer some of our most flexible cover design options.
You can customize:
Fonts
Text size
Text placement
Text color
Background color (depending on layout)
Additional customization outside the options available in the editor is not available.
What paper type is used?
Interior Pages
- Lustre: Printed on lustre-finish photo paper, giving images rich color and a subtle sheen
- Matte: Printed on textured eggshell matte paper for a soft, tactile, fine-art look
How many pages can the book have?
- Minimum: 20 pages (10 spreads)
- Maximum: 100 pages (50 spreads)
Pages can only be added in increments of two (one spread).
How thick are the pages?
The pages are thick and layflat, but they are slightly thinner than the pages used in our other Layflat Albums because they do not include the additional glue sheet used to create extra thickness.
How much do additional pages cost?
Additional page pricing varies by product and size. Please see the “Pricing Details” section on the product page for specific costs.
Do the pages layflat?
Yes. These albums use flush mount binding, allowing pages to open completely flat.
This binding style is ideal for full-spread photos that extend across both pages.
What is the difference between these books and all the other Layflat Albums?

Can I switch an existing design to a different book type?
No. Once a project is started, the album type cannot be changed.
To use a specific cover design or fabric from a different book type, you will need to start a new project with that book.
How long does it take to print and ship?
Our Photo Wrapped Layflat Albums require 5 full business days for production, in addition to shipping times.

Is the company logo printed on the book?
No. Layflat Albums do not include the Artifact Uprising logo on the finished product.
The album ships in a custom white box with a removable branded sleeve. The logo also appears on the shipping packaging.
