Can I change my album size after starting my project?
Yes. You can change the album size within the editor using the size dropdown on the left side of the screen.

What cover materials are available?
The Signature Layflat Album offers additional premium cover materials.
Bonded Leather
- Available in Chestnut and Black.
- These covers are made from recycled leather fragments blended into a smooth, durable, and more sustainable material.
Fabric Covers
- Available in Oatmeal, Cloud, Midnight Blue, Seamist, Smoke, Stone, Black, Sage, Olive, Emerald, Pacific Blue, Honeycomb, Terracotta, Orchidee, Ruby, and Plum.
- These linens provide a premium texture and are made from plant-based fibers rather than plastic.
What are the cover design options?
The Signature Layflat Album includes six cover designs.
- Five designs include a tip-on photo on the cover.
- Tip-on photos cannot be removed or repositioned.
- Some image wells are full-bleed, while others include a border. These layouts cannot be adjusted.
Text Only Design
- Includes two lines of foil stamping
- Does not include a tip-on photo

Can I customize the foil stamping fonts or cover layouts?
No. All foil stamping is done by hand, so customization is limited to the options available in the editor.

What are End Sheets?
End sheets are the pages that line the inside front and back covers of a photo book. The Signature Layflat Albums include premium end sheet options:
- Ivory
- Handmade Marbled Paper (Gold/Cream)
Because the marbled paper is handmade, each album will feature unique patterns and natural variations.
Ribbon Marker
Each album includes a Satin Cream ribbon marker that is 3/8 inch wide.
What paper type is used?
The Signature Layflat Album uses the same interior papers as our other Layflat Albums.
Interior Pages
- Lustre: Printed on lustre-finish photo paper, giving images rich color and a subtle sheen
- Superfine: Printed on textured eggshell matte paper for a soft, tactile, fine-art look
How many pages can the book have?
- Minimum: 20 pages (10 spreads)
- Maximum: 90 pages (45 spreads)
How thick are the pages?
Each page is approximately 0.04 inches thick.
- Minimum album thickness (20 pages): ~0.625 inches
- Maximum album thickness (90 pages): ~2 inches
Pages are not measured in GSM because each page includes a glue sheet that creates a thick flush-mount construction.

Do the pages layflat?
Yes, the Signature Layflat Albums use flush mount binding, allowing pages to open completely flat. This is ideal for full-spread photos across two pages.
Each page includes a glue sheet, making it extra thick. The pages are secured at the spine, then inserted into the cover and adhered to the end sheets.

Is the Artifact Uprising logo included on the album?
No. Layflat Albums do not include the Artifact Uprising logo on the finished product.
The album ships in a custom white box with a removable branded sleeve. The logo also appears on the shipping packaging.
