Can I change the size after I start my project?
Yes. In the editor, use the size dropdown menu on the left side of the screen.
Keep in mind that changing the size may adjust layouts and reset image cropping. Be sure to review each spread carefully after resizing.

Can I customize the cover?
Foil stamping is done by hand using custom metal stamps. At this time, customization is limited to the cover layouts and text options available in the editor.
Character limits depend on the selected cover design and book size. To view the limit, click the cover or spine text box in the editor. A counter will appear (for example: 0/38 characters).
What paper type is used?
Interior Pages
- Lustre: Printed on lustre-finish photo paper, giving images rich color and a subtle sheen
- Superfine: Printed on textured eggshell matte paper for a soft, tactile, fine-art look
How many pages can the book have?
- Minimum: 20 pages (10 spreads)
- Maximum: 90 pages (45 spreads)
Pages can only be added in increments of two (one spread).
How thick are the pages?
20 pages min. (.625” thick) // 90 pages max. (~2” thick)
Each page is about .04” thick. The minimum page count (20 pages/10 spreads) is .625” in thickness. The maximum page count (90 pages/45 spreads) is about 2" in thickness.
How much do additional pages cost?

Do the pages layflat?
Yes. Layflat Albums use flush mount binding, allowing pages to open completely flat. This makes them ideal for full-spread images across two pages.
Each page includes a glue sheet that creates the album’s thick, durable pages. The pages are secured at the spine and adhered to the end sheets inside the cover.

Can I switch an existing design to a different book type?
No. Once a project is started, the album type cannot be changed.
To use a different book type, cover design, or fabric, you will need to start a new project with that product.

Our Layflat Albums require 5 full business days for production, in addition to shipping times.

Is the company logo printed on the book?
No. Layflat Albums do not include the Artifact Uprising logo on the finished product.
The album ships in a custom white box with a removable branded sleeve. The logo also appears on the shipping packaging.
