What is Photo Curation?
Photo Curation is the process of narrowing down a large group of images into a smaller, more meaningful set. When you purchase this service, one of our designers will review your photos and select the best images based on your project goals.
How does Photo Curation work?

Purchase the service
You’ll receive an email within 1 business day with next steps and a short questionnaire to understand your project vision. -
Upload your photos
Your Design Services Account Manager will provide instructions for sharing your images. -
Curation begins
Once your images and details are confirmed, a designer will hand-select the best photos for your project. -
Receive your curated gallery
Your selected images will be uploaded to your Artifact Uprising account and shared with you via email.
How long does Photo Curation take?
After your images are received and confirmed, your curated gallery will be delivered within 4 business days. Images must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
How do I upload my images?
After purchase, your Account Manager will send instructions for securely sharing your original image files.
Please note:
- Do not upload images directly to your Artifact Uprising account for this service
- Use the provided upload method to maintain image quality
How do I access my selected images?
Your curated images will be uploaded to a new gallery in your Artifact Uprising account, ready for use in your project. A shareable Google Drive folder can also be provided upon request.
How many images will I receive?
The final number depends on your project type and the number of images submitted. Most curated galleries include 150–300 images.
For reference:
- 90-page Layflat Album: ~140–160 images
- 200-page Hardcover Book: ~280–320 images
Can I combine this with Design Services?
Yes. Photo Curation pairs well with Album Design Services if you’d like our team to fully design your Layflat Album.
How much does Photo Curation cost?
Pricing is based on your starting image count and is available on the product page.
Important notes
- One curated gallery is provided per service purchase
- The service includes one round of curation (no revisions)
- Image quality is not adjusted—please upload high-resolution files
- Recommended specs: JPG/PNG, 150–300 DPI, under 25MB, sRGB color profile
- Do not use your Artifact Uprising account as long-term photo storage—backup your files separately
- If images are not submitted within 30 days, the service will be canceled
