Yes, you can copy and paste text into your project, but some formatting may not transfer correctly. We're continuing to improve this experience, but in the meantime, these tips can help:
- Use plain text when possible. Special symbols, emojis, or foreign characters may not paste correctly. Try using Paste as Plain Text or remove unsupported characters before pasting.
- Remove hidden formatting. Paste your text into a simple notes app first to strip extra formatting before copying it into the editor.
- If you're copying from Google Docs, switch the text to a font that's available in our editor before copying. When pasting, choose Paste and Match Style or Paste as Plain Text if those options are available.
- If you're copying from an email, try copying the text directly from the original email into the editor rather than through another program.
