When you open your finished Hardcover Photo Book, you'll first see a blank white page. This page is part of the book's construction and helps attach the pages to the cover.
The blank white page is not shown in the editor because it cannot be customized.
Unlike our Layflat Albums, Hardcover Photo Books do not include a full spread (2 pages) as the first page. Instead, they include a single page that separates the cover and appears before your first designed page.
How this appears in the editor
- The Cover appears first.
- Page 1 is the first editable page of your book.
- The remaining pages continue in numerical order.
Finished book order
- Cover
- Inside Cover (non-editable)
- Page 1 (first editable page on the right side)
- Pages 2-3 (first full spread)
- Remaining Pages
- Inside Back Cover (non-editable)
- Back Cover
Good to know: The Inside Cover is intentionally left blank and cannot be customized. If you'd like your book to begin with a title page or your first photo, place it on Page 1, which appears immediately after the Inside Cover.
