How do I upload images from my Google Photos?
To upload images from Google Photos within the editor:
- If it's a new project, you'll be prompted to select an option, if the pop up window isn't there, you can click the Add Photos on the right side of the editor.
- Choose Google Photos
- Log in to your account and select the images you’d like to use
Important: Do not delete or move images from your Google Photos account before or after placing your order. If images are removed, they may appear as broken links and will not print correctly.
Important: If you have a shared Google Photos Folder only the photos that you have uploaded will be added to your project.
My images are showing up as broken links in my project. What do I do?
Broken links typically occur when the connection to your Google Photos account is interrupted (for example, after logging out or restarting your device).
To fix this:
- Reconnect to Google Photos using the upload steps above
- Re-select and re-add the images to your project
Note: If images were deleted or moved in your Google Photos account, they cannot be retrieved and will need to be uploaded again.
Why are my images showing up as low resolution?
Images imported from third-party platforms may be compressed to smaller file sizes, which lowers their resolution.
Our editor flags images that may not print clearly, especially if they fall below 150 DPI or are too small for the photo box they’re placed in. For best results, we recommend using original image files sized at 300 DPI.
If you see a low-resolution warning:
- Replace the image with the original file (if available), or
- Reduce the image size in your layout
Which third-party systems are not available?
We currently support Google Photos, but do not offer direct integrations with the following platforms:
- Dropbox
- iCloud
- Amazon Photos
- OneDrive
- Imgur
- Flickr
- 500px
- Photobucket
To use images from these sources, download them to your device and upload them directly to your project.
Can I use images from Instagram?
Instagram images cannot be imported directly due to platform limitations.
To use an Instagram photo:
- Download the image to your phone or computer
- Upload it to your project using the Add Photos option in the editor
Keep in mind that Instagram images are often compressed and may appear lower resolution in print.
