How to add images to a layout
Once your photos are uploaded, you can view them on the right side of the editor. From there, you can upload new images or select photos from a gallery in your account.
There are a few ways to add an image to a layout:
- Drag and drop: Click and drag an image into a photo box on the page.
- Click to add: Click an image in the photo tray to add it to the highlighted layout.
Click an image to add it automatically
You can also click an image from the gallery to add it automatically. The photo will be placed into the highlighted layout, which is marked by a small blue border. If no specific image box is selected, the editor may place the image into the next blank layout.
How to tell if an image is already in your project
If an image has already been added to the project, it will appear slightly greyed out in the gallery and display a black check mark.
How to remove an image from a layout
To remove an image from a layout, click the image on the page and select the Remove trash can icon.
How to replace or swap an image
You do not always need to remove an image first. You can replace it by:
- dragging a new image into that photo box
- clicking a new image to add it in its place
- selecting the existing image and using the Swap option
Using Swap is a quick way to replace one image with another while keeping the same layout in place.
