Can I design my own dust jacket?
Yes. You can create your design in a third-party program and upload it as a PNG. Our editor works best with built-in layouts, so custom designs may take some trial and error.
What parts can I customize?
You can design:
- Front cover
- Back cover
- Spine
The inside flaps (left and right sides) cannot be customized and will remain white.
How do I set up my file?
Add bleed to prevent trimming issues:
- Add 0.125" to each side (0.25" total to width and height)
Example:
Final size: 18.25" x 9" → File size: 18.5" x 9.25"
Keep important content away from edges.
Where do I find dust jacket layouts?
In the editor:
- While on the cover page go to Layouts on the left side of the editor
Two Image (front + back separate):
Default, Title Card, Striped, Cropped, Bold, Label
Full Bleed (one continuous image):
Default Full Bleed, Title Card Full Bleed, Striped Full Bleed, Cropped Full Bleed, Bold Full Bleed, Label Full Bleed

- Partial: Paper 25.5 x 6.25
- Full: Paper 25.5 x 9

- Full: Paper 25 x 11.5
11" x 8.25"
- Partial: Paper 33.25 x 6.25
- Full: Paper 30.5–31 x 8.75
10" x 10"
- Partial: Paper 27.625 x 6.25
- Full: Paper 27.625 x 10.5625
