If your file won’t upload, start by checking these basics:
Make sure the file is saved as a CSV.
Confirm all required fields are filled in (Street 2, State/Province, and Country are optional).
Do not edit or remove the preset header row.
Ensure spacing is correct (e.g., “Street 1” not “Street1”; “Postal Code” not “PostalCode”).
Still having issues? Here are common errors and fixes:
1. Error: “Name is missing on line ___” but the row looks blank
Copy only the rows with text (no empty rows) into a new Google Sheets document.
Make sure the headers match exactly as they appear in our original template.
Download the sheet as a CSV.
Save and close the file — do not reopen it or the changes will be lost.
Upload the unopened file to our site.
2. Postal codes starting with “0” are dropping the first digit
In your template, change the Postal Code column formatting to Plain Text.
Re-enter the postal codes so the leading “0” is visible.
Save the file as a CSV, then close it — do not reopen it or the changes will be lost.
Upload the unopened file to our site.
