We’re excited to share the updates to our Baby Book | The Story of You that launched November 2025:

• Binder Design & Colors: Redesigned binder with a more prominent spine, plus new modern color options alongside our classic favorites. (Note: colors may vary slightly from past versions, so exact matches to older books are not guaranteed.)

• Photo Checklist: A new checklist helps you plan and gather all the photos needed to complete your book.

• Flexible Prompts: Updated prompts make it easier to personalize pages with different photo types.

• Monthly Pages: Now include a placeholder image for guidance.

• Paper Updates: Chapters, dividers, letters, and envelopes are now printed on Neenah 80# Royal Sundance Driftwood paper.

• Size Adjustments:

  • Base & Special Pages: 10 x 10"

  • Chapters, Dividers & Months: 9.5 x 10"

  • Letters: 9.5 x 9.5"

Each Story of You Baby Book comes with:

• A checklist that outlines all photos that will be needed to fill in the book

• A code for 10 complimentary Lustre Photo Prints or Everyday Photo Prints (3.25 x 3.25" or 3.25 x 4.25")

• A code for 10 complimentary Birth Announcements Cards

• 400 squares total (8 sheets) clear adhesive squares to secure your prints

• Instructions on how to register your book and redeem your free prints

How do I redeem my complimentary prints?

Inside your book, you’ll find an insert with a unique code and instructions.

1. Head to https://www.artifactuprising.com/get-started to enter your registration information.
2. After your information is entered, we will send your code for 10 complimentary prints and 10 complimentary birth announcements.
3. Design your 10 Lustre Photo Prints or Everyday Photo Prints (3.25 x 3.25" or 3.25 x 4.25")
4. Design your 10 Birth Announcements Cards
5. Enter the code at checkout to receive them free

Note: The code is only available once your book arrives, so prints and the book cannot be ordered together.

Can I place the order for my prints and cards in the same order?

Since each product has two unique codes, they cannot be placed in the same order and must be ordered separately.

What material is the cover made of?

A high quality Linen fabric. 

Can I change the text on the cover?

Each baby book currently comes pre-stamped with the title, “Here Begins The Story Of You”. We do not offer custom foil-stamping on the books.

Can I remove or add pages?

Yes, absolutely! The book is bound with a 4-ring binder – so removing or rearranging pages is simple.

Are additional pages available for purchase? 

Yes! You can order the Story of You Add-On pages here.

What is the page max for the Baby Book? 

The binder book can accommodate 61 sheets (the 50 sheets that come with the original purchase and the 11 sheets if you choose to add the add-on pack) Adding prints (around 50-70 ) will add a few inches of bulk. Our binders are built with this in mind and to accommodate this added width.

What are the prompts inside like?

The Story of You is "family-neutral," fitting for a variety of family structures (e.g., single parents, adopted children) and genders (e.g., same-sex parents, boy or girl child). Bound with a 4-ring binder, you can also remove or rearrange any pages that don't fit your family's story.

What type of pen and adhesive do you recommend?

• We include our preferred adhesive with each baby book, so you're ready to begin as soon as it arrives! Should you need additional tape for your photo prints, you can find double-sided adhesive online or at your local craft store.

• As for which pen will work best in the book, your favorite ball-point pen will do the trick. If you prefer a marker, a quick-dry pen that uses archival-safe ink is recommended. Some smudging is possible with all pens, so please allow each page to dry thoroughly. The two markers we recommend are: 

  • Slick Writer Pen by American Crafts

  • Felt Tip Pen Fine Point by Sharpie
